About Joyce
I’ve been a counselor, teacher, coach and consultant for four decades. I have worked in middle schools, high schools, and colleges. I have trained teachers, parents, foster parents, social workers and also youth in numerous peer mentoring programs.
Most recently I served for 20 years as the Health Educator at The Cambridge School of Weston, where I also directed the Community Service program and served as the GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) advisor. I have an M.Ed in Counseling Psychology from Boston University and a BA in English from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
My parenting experience is extensive: I'm a proud mother, step-mother, foster mother, and mother-in-law.
